Liam Renton has been talking on the radio around Australiafor the past 15 years. A former Channel 7 Newsreader, Liam was a presenter on Kids TV in the 90’s. He’s the father of2 little girls, husband to Amy, and loves music, trying onlyrecently to convince the work experience kid to download his collection of 10,000 songs from his dusty old cd’s  to hisipod,  a job no busy father has time for. Liam’s passion is live music, having seen most of the world's top acts, including front row at U2,  and his wife’s personal favourite; sitting on the speaker stack at a recent Third Daygig. He’s chatted to many of the worlds big names as well,from Russel Crowe to the Backstreet Boys, to his personal highlight,most of the Australian Cricket team. A big reader,  20 books this year alone so far,  Liam cooks for his family most nights and nearly got on the last season of MasterChef, if he hadn’t burnt the prosciutto in front of Matt Preston in the final round of auditions.  Catch Liam this weekend around the country as the host of Australia’s Hot 25 Countdown..

He’s the man who makes the show sound HOT,  JDOG’s the king of the sound effects, with a whole swag of whiz bang, zaps and pows at his disposal. He's the guy with his feet on the desk, pressing the big red button that says “Play”  when we go to air. A band member in his own right, (Justin) gets sound, noise and groove and knows a hit when he hears it, JDOG may not talk on the  radio,  but he makes sure the show gets to air every week.

With the net at her disposal and a contact list a mile long, Katie’s the girl behind the big name guests who join us on the Hot 25 Countdown each week. She’s got her finger on the pulse of all the latest happenings, who's touring with who and where,  she does the hard yards, scrolling through band bio’s and concert lineups, so we have the latest news  from the bands  that make our show what it is.

Jess compiles the show each week, and knows exactly how many votes you send through for your favourite bands,  She knows which station is playing which tune and how often, which helps us compile the nation's hottest 25 tunes.
